About the journal: Our journal–also titled cinéSPEAK–was founded in 2020, with the mission of publishing articles about the intersections of movement building and media making. We have established an Editorial Collective, made up of an annually-appointed group of filmmakers, journalists, and community organizers, to oversee the processes of the journal and create goals and visions for the journal. Still in its early stages, we are in an exciting process of building the journal into the publication that we collectively want it to be. Check out our journal here: https://www.cinespeak.org/read
