OPPORTUNITY ALERT! CALL FOR LOCAL FILM SHORTS (cinéSPEAK @ Cherry Street Pier – November 2021)

CALL FOR ENTRIES – CHERRY ST PIER – NOVEMBER 2021

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

TOWARDS THE OTHER SIDE. is a local filmmaker showcase that is seeking work that is experimental, speculative, horror and fantasy, weird and strange. We’re looking for works that spook, bump in the night, bloody and majestic, travel in time and play with form and expectation. We are looking for work that considers the futurity and magical in the mundane as well as the fantastic. And finally, works that tell of times either passed, times present, or times future — but with a funky twist. (Program Designed and Curated By: Vernon Jordan III, Assistant Director of Programs)

**Filmmakers must Be Philadelphia-based**

**To the Front: Black, brown, Indigenous, queer, women or non-binary identifying filmmakers

**Film must be < 20 min in length

**Works can be mature but not contain excessive explicit language, nudity, sex, violence, or gore.
